An Uncommon Story of a Common Girl

Starting of new class, new academic session for her was exciting. Sitting next to Pranav has made one thing clear to Aara and that was, she had to score more marks than him anyhow. At first she was hesitant towards him but gradually she started talking to him. She started opening up to him like she never did with anyone. It was good for her. They became good friends. Pranav helped her in her studies too, being her competitor. And that was the thing she liked about him the most. She started talking in class, which she never did after an incident happened to her in class 1. She got new enthusiasm, new hope, new happiness and new comfort zone. Pranav was really kind hearted unlike her thoughts about him. They had good times together, participated in dances, debates and all the other cocurricular activities. Although they were just very good friends but rumors started to get into the air.
She scored full marks in mathematics for the first time in her life just because of Pranav. She was floating on the ninth cloud. It had been a very good experience in her life being with him, talking to him, knowing him and laughing and enjoying life with him. He too liked her company a lot. They were on their own when together.
But that was not soothing to some eyes, for instant, a ma’am (Mrs. Sheela) living next to her, liked Pranav a hell lot as her favorite student. But she didn’t like her as much. So she started gossiping about them with her mother. When she came to know about it from her mother, she stopped talking to Pranav and changed her place even. They stopped interacting and her life went to boring again.
It was almost the end of academic session that she had to stop talking to him. Days passed as usual. Final exams came. This time she worked real hard but the result was as usual, she came second. First position was secured by Pranav again. But this time she wasn’t disappointed., rather she was happy that she had a good time with a new friend whole year. She didn’t care about her mother even.
Vacations passed, she did nothing unusual, exciting. Just being in home and preparing for next year.
This time she was looking forward for next academics. She wanted to be in section with Pranav.
Somewhere inside she started liking him. And had a feeling that Pranav liked her too..................................................
