An Uncommon Story of a Common Girl

Today she was sad. she didn't score good marks in her mid terms exams. only 77??
These were lowest marks scored by her till the date. she got low and went home midway through the school. hard for her to digest the fact. as soon as she reached home, she was scared to tell her mom about it. "Mumma!!! i scored very less marks in mathematics this time and i am really sorry about it", was the first sentence she said to her mom. but except for sympathy, she heard lots of comments and taunts instead. she got depressed and shattered. went to bed without having her lunch, cried and slept.
At evening the voice of her mother woke her up. her eyes still red and swelled. "is this the only thing mother wants from me??marks??ranks??" was the first thought came to her mind. she somehow lifted her mood up and went out to have a troll with her best friend Simran.
Simran was an year older than her but still was the one who can cheer her up when she is in her lowest. she was compeletly herself with Simran. nothing to worry about.
They had a walk around the house and she laughed and had fun with her until she came back to home. her mother was still upset so she sat down to study without speaking anything. at last her mother broke her silence up by asking her to have something to eat. she had a sigh of relief at last!!
Days passed, she worked harder and the final result was quite good for her 7th standard. but her mother yet unsatisfied because she couldn't  secure 1st rank. it was grabbed by her classmate Pranav Dixit for once again. from the starting of her academics, Pranav was the one to secure 1st rank in all the sections.
Still happy for herself she made a decision of doing better next time!!
As the new academic session began so was the enthusiasm and will to do better this time. her mother eager to teach her everything at once (huff!!). but something happened this new academic session. Pranav was her classmate after 6 years. that too she was seated next to him. this was kind of strange for her. but she accepted that too..........................
